How are targets narrowed down?

Utilizing DOCOMO's position and attribute data, we select and deliver to time zones and media with a high target visibility ratio of specific gender and age demographics.

How are impressions (number of viewers) calculated?

We use Mobile Spatial Statistics® * and other location information to estimate the number of people your ad has reached. Through separate follow-up surveys, we calculate the View Ratio based on probable viewers among the total number of possible viewers and thus derive the estimated number of ad viewers (impressions).

Are there methods of verifying effectiveness other than calculating impressions (number of viewers)?

Delivering ads is just the first step. We conduct surveys after ads have been delivered to verify changes in brand recognition, attitude, or behaviors among target audiences.
